antelope creek

$400.00

Picture this: I sit down at my easel, facetiming my sister, a blank canvas sitting before me. I have absolutely no clue what to paint but I just know she’s got a hoard of photos from her trips out to the canyons of Arizona and beyond.

I ask her to send me anything- anything beautiful and nice and happy. So she sends me this sweet photo from a kayak ride through Antelope Creek up in Northern Arizona and my jaw drops to the floor. What an image. And a challenge!

So I got to work, adding more layers each day, getting more inspired each time by how all the possibilities in the rock formations and in the river’s reflection. We’ve landed here, and I’m so excited to share this piece with you.

Artwork information:

12 x 16”, acrylic on canvas, unframed, unvarnished.
