solid gold

$600.00

It’s not like me to get excited about a large, detailed landscape painting, but when I kept looking at these photos back from a trip to Arizona, I couldn’t stop thinking about what it’d be like to find the shapes and colors on a canvas.

Surprisingly, I began pretty boldly, painting over a work that didn’t find its person and might not have, but now definitely will. This painting took months, and I’m proud of what it is today. There are so many avenues within it that kept me busy and still keep my eye busy when studying it, which is a hard thing to not do when you’re looking at a canyon in Arizona.

I so hope this work brings you happiness and color. While it was in my studio, it never ceased to do just that.

Artwork information:

18 x 24”, acrylic on canvas, unframed, unvarnished.
